Today I will be writing about winter sport.
If you've read some of my old blogs you may know a little bit about this topic but I'll repeat it just in case.
The sport we could choose out of were:
- Rugby
- Netball
- Hockey
- Football
I chose hockey, I chose it because I play it in the weekends so I thought it would be good practice and I also just thought it was going to be fun, which it was. We usually play it on grass for school but this year we got the opportunity to play it on turf, I personally find turf easier to play on but that's just me.
They held trials to see which teams you should be put in. I got put in the A team for hockey but our group name was the Lions. My second choice was netball, I trialled for that as well but I would only be in a netball team if I didn't make it into a hockey team.
What sport would you choose?
I was a pupil at St Francis of Assisi School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Winter Sport 2019
Hi guys.
Today I'm going to talking to you about our winter sport for this term.
The types of sport are the same ones as they were in year 5 & 6 which were:
- Netball
- Rugby
- Hockey
- Football
For this year I have decided to play hockey, usually we play the games on grass but luckily our school have decided to let us play on turf.
So far we have won all of our games, so for this term our hockey team has been very successful.
I personally like to play any position because it is 6 aside and
you just sometimes have to adapt.
But if I had to choose one position to play it would probably be a midfielder because I love being in the action and having that adrenaline running through me while i'm sprinting to the other end of the field.
What sport would you play?
